Sensex gains 500 points, Nifty 50 ends above 24,350; investors earn ₹5 lakh crore in a day
The Sensex rose by 505 points, or 0.65%, to end at 78,493.54, while the NSE barometer Nifty 50 settled at 24,353.55, rising by 157 points, or 0.65%.
